Join Rosen Hillel for Alternative Spring Break in Los Angeles!
March 4-11, 2012
 Working with City Year, we’ll be repairing, painting and building at underfunded public schools, then break out and spend afternoons working directly with children in afterschool programs.
Evenings are full of speakers, group outings, and sightseeing around sunny LA!
Temple students well be joined by student from Hillels across the country for service work, fun, and an amazing Shabbat experience together.
Cost: $250 + airfare
*a few notes about the online application:
- To fully complete the application you will need a valid credit card for the $250 participation fee and your health insurance information
- Completing the application (including paying the participation fee) does not guarantee acceptance to the program! Hillel staff will be in touch with you to set up an interview and we will inform you of your status once the interviews are completed.
- Please note that you will not be able to partially complete the online registration - there is no "save and return" feature. Once you have begun the online registration process you must complete it. However you can (and should!) follow the link and download a Word document of the essay questions you will be required to answer as part of online registration. We suggest that you fill out your responses prior to beginning the online application process, then cut and paste your responses into the "Essays" page of the online registration form.
