Edward H. Rosen Center for Jewish Life at Temple University

rosen center"It will offer spaces that nurture diverse Jewish communities, provide for their administration and programming needs, and promote the value of Kehillat Yisrael - identification with a unified Jewish community."
~ Rabbi Howard Alpert

The Edward H. Rosen Hillel Center for Jewish Life provides Temple University with a beautiful, state-of the-art facility that is a source of pride for Jewish students and a resource for the entire Temple community.

Approximately 3,000 Jewish undergraduate and graduate students attend Temple University. More than 80% of Jewish undergraduate students and many graduate students live on campus or in the surrounding neighborhood. The Edward H. Rosen Hillel Center for Jewish Life is the platform on which these students and others are building their Jewish community and the hub for activities through which they explore their Judaism.

The Rosen Center is warm and welcoming. It offers 10,500 square feet of program and administration space on three floors and boasts a rooftop garden overlooking the Center City skyline. Located on the corner of 15th and Norris Streets, it is a beautiful addition to the Temple campus in support of Temple’s emerging and active Jewish student community.
