JUSTICE

Join JUSTICE (Jewish University Students Together in Community Exchange) and work with students from Temple on an exciting new community-based service learning project!

Students, guided by a steering committee of their peers, will have the opportunity to build relationships with community organizations in North Philadelphia. Year-long responsibilities include volunteering at the community site at least once each month and attending a monthly meeting with all the participating students. These meetings will be held on each of the three campuses on a rotating basis and will be a forum for learning and reflection. Discussion topics include class issues in the Jewish community and on our campuses, the socio-economic demographics of Philadelphia, and Jewish values of community involvement.
