Bio:

Jessica Shimberg was born in Evanston, IL and spent most of her life in the windy city of Chicago. She is a fifth year rabbinical student at the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College. Before coming to Hillel at Temple, Jessica worked at the Hillel at the University of Delaware, at synagogues, summer camps and Hebrew schools, and at the Jewish Council on Urban Affairs in Chicago. Jessica has her B.A. in Jewish and Near Eastern Studies from Washington University in St Louis, and her M.A. in Social and Cultural Foundations of Education from DePaul University. Clearly, she cannot get enough of school and that's why she likes to hang out on campus with students all the time! She loves to talk about TV as much as Torah, and loves to read, play music, cook and fight for social justice.

Hillel at Temple University is a program of Hillel of Greater Philadelphia,
a partner agency of The Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia,
affiliated with Hillel: The Foundation for Jewish Campus Life.
