Position: Student Leader Intern, Lead Intern My name is Yuval, and I am a senior majoring in Strategic Communications and Judaic Studies. I grew up on a kibbutz in Israel until the age of 10 when my family moved to Lower Merion. I have been attending Camp Galil (first as a camper, now as a counselor) since 2005 and currently live with all my camp friends on campus. Aside from my involvement with Hillel, I am also an Honors Peer Mentor at Temple University. Moreover, I work at two Hebrew Schools in Center City. As a cultural Jew, I find comfort and enjoyment in all sorts of Jewish gatherings the Ed Rosen Center for Jewish Life provides. As the Lead Intern, I hope to connect Temple's Jewish community, student leaders, staff and donors to create a meaningful and memorable experience for all looking to take part in Jewish life. Hillel has drastically changed my college experience, and I hope that during my last year of school, I can help give others the same experiences that I have had in the past.

I am a sister of Delta Phi Epsilon- Delta Nu chapter here on campus and also apart of the therapeutic recreation club. I am from Cherry Hill, NJ which means I'm not far, just right over the bridge. As the Jews In Greek Life coordinator, I look forward to becoming the liaison between the Greek community on Campus and Hillel. I cant wait for an especially great year! Lets get the ball rolling!
Position: Student Leader Intern, Israel Engagement My name is Paige, and I will serve as an Israel Intern during the 2012-2013 school year. I am a senior in the Communications and Theater school, majoring in Public Relations with a minor in Hebrew. I am originally from Dresher, PA although I spent my high school years in Atlanta, GA where I was extremely active in BBYO. Besides Hillel, I am involved with Chabad on campus, Maimonides at Temple and PRSSA. I love engaging students in discussions about Israel and the opportunities it can offer them.
I am excited for a year of great Israel programming, record breaking Birthright sign ups and more students feeling connected to Israel on Temple's campus!
Position: Student Leader Intern, Israel Engagement Hi, my name is Evan Herron. I am a transfer student majoring in Jewish Studies and minoring in Political Science. I am originally from Cherry Hill, NJ and was an active member of BBYO during high school. Upon graduating from high school, I deferred my first year of college to serve as International President (Grand Aleph Godol) of BBYO. My passion for Israel Advocacy started in high school through BBYO when I got involved in AIPAC. This past year I was an Israel encounter engagement intern and this year will serve as Temple Hillel’s Israel Intern. I will help organize and structure the Israel clubs on campus to bring Israeli culture and society to Temple in a new way. I am most excited to get people to Israel for free on our Birthright trips!
Position: Student Leader Intern, Social Action My name is Lily, and I will be the social action intern for this upcoming school year. Currently, I am a Junior (graduating in 2015) in the school of Science and Technology, majoring in Biology. I grew up in Jamison PA! As the social action intern I hope to engage students in a variety of meaningful service, including an interfaith project. Hillel and Chabat have served as my second home during my time at temple, and I look forward to helping create these experiences for students like you!
Position: Student Leader Intern, Religious Life I am a Jewish Studies major with a possible double major in the School of Communications and Theater. I will be graduating in 2015, and I am from Doylestown, PA. I am an alumni of NFTY-PAR where I served as Religious and Cultural Vice President my senior year of high school and was also a songleader. I am an alumni of URJ Kutz Camp and am going to be a counselor there this summer. At Temple, I am a student in the Honors Program and a sister of Phi Sigma Sigma, of which I am Scholarship Chair. My internship as a student leader at Hillel next year is with a focus in religion, so I will be organizing events, Shabbat services, possibly Shabbat retreats, and plan on including Jewish culture into events at Hillel next year. I am excited to continue songleading in services and hopefully expanding and solidifying a group of students who want to songlead in services, and lead alternative services or services that they wish to see. I want people to see that the Jewish religion can mean whatever you want, and that being Jews in America is a privilege . Watching the Hillel grow and working with other student leaders and students are also things I am looking forward to. I can't wait to meet incoming freshman, new students, and new people in general and learn about everyone and how they want to be involved Jewishly on and off campus. Come talk to me about it!
Position: Student Leader Intern, Community Engagement I am a sophomore Actuarial Science major at the Fox Business School. I graduated Garnet Valley Highschool in 2011. I am very involved with Hillel, Chabad, and the ZBT here at Temple. In highschool I was a involved in Gratz Hebrew High School in West Chester, PA. I am the Community Engagement Intern this year at Hillel. And I can't wait to meet all the new freshmen, plan awesome events for the Jewish community, and make Hillel even more awesome than it already is!
Position: Student Leader Intern, Freshman Engagement Molly Weinberg is a sophomore happily studying Broadcast Journalism. She is quite the social butterfly! If you don’t see her hanging out at the Hillel building she might be in the radio station live on WHIP radio, spending time with some of her sisters in Delta Phi Epsilon, chilling in Annenberg school of Communications with the TUTV crew, in Temple Towers with her roommate, or simply just strolling down Liacouras Walk. Molly was born and raised in Allentown, PA to two wonderful, Jewish parents. She has a little bit of Hebrew school under her belt, she was successfully Bat Mitzvahed, and she was involved with BBYO for a tiny bit of high school. She identifies herself most with Judaism by the culture, customs, and laws. Hillel to Molly is a second home in which she always feels comfortable and accepted. She is most excited about being able to meet new students and to provide for them the at-home feeling she has had since day one.
