Andy is a Junior in the Religion program at Temple University. He graduated from the the high school formerly known as Akiba Hebrew Academy in 2006, and while there learned all sorts of neat Jewish stuff! Andy spent his year after high school in Israel on the Nativ program, where he lived, studied, and chopped carrots all in the name of state of Israel and Zionism! While spending his summers at Camp Ramah in the Poconos and working as a Hebrew School teacher and Youth group advisor, Andy has developed a strong connection with informal Jewish Education. If not at hillel, Andy can be found making balloon animals or hanging out at his fraternity house. He is very excited for an amazing year with Hillel!
Hey! My name's Emily. I'm a freshman music major at Temple this year. Hillel has truly made this year awesome for me and I'm so happy to be on the wonderful 2010 executive board!
Hey Everyone, Bryan Mann here and I'm wicked excited to be your new Vice President of Judaism. I'm a second year Jewish Studies major who is very active on campus. Outside of being Hillel's Vice President of Judaism, I am also the founder and President of All Sides at Temple University as well as a Founding Father and Scribe (secretary) of Pi Lambda Phi fraternity. I also actively participate in Student Peace Alliance, Students for Environmental Action, Amnesty International and some other student organizations. When I do have any sense of free time, I can be found writing poetry, performing at or attending Open Mics, hanging out with friends on Beaury Beach (when it's nice out) and/or possibly getting some school work done in my apartment, the library, or Tech Center. If you have any questions about me, what I do for Hillel, or other organizations on campus don't hesitate to contact me!
