Welcome Class of 2014!

Welcome class of 2014

Welcome to Temple University and our Jewish Community!  We strive to be an open and welcoming community and we hope that you will make us your home away from home for the next four years.  Hillel has a variety of programs and we invite you to explore our website or stop by The Rosen Hillel Center to find out about them.

Fresh Fest

While we will have plenty of events during welcome week to introduce you to campus, we invite all Freshmen to move in a day early and join us for Fresh Fest!  Fresh Fest is an exclusive program to introduce Freshmen to campus and meet other Jewish students.  Highlights include:

  • Early move in
  • A chance to meet other Freshmen and upperclassmen
  • Familiarize yourself with campus and Philadelphia

Details regarding the program, sign up and registration:

  • Programming will start at 5 PM on August 23rd and continue throughout the day on the 24th.
  • The cost is $75, which includes the $35 early move in fee, all meals and activities.  If students register for this program they do not need to pay any additional early move-in fees to University Housing and Residential Services
  • Students will be notified by the University in which Residence Hall they will be living. Early check-in times are between 10am and 2pm.
  • All students must register by July 27th.
  • Students must provide their TUID number in order to register.

Parents are welcome to join us for a tour of Hillel and a parent's session on the afternoon of the 23rd and then stay for dinner.
